Dublin Cycling Campaign

DCC are an independent, voluntary group lobbying local and national government to bring about improved conditions for cyclists and greater recognition of the benefits of cycling. They were instrumental in getting the 30km/h speed limit put in place in Dublin and have been very supportive of the introduction of the Dublin Bikes. They have been working both behind the scenes and in the media spotlight since 1993. They are represented on the Transportation “Strategic Policy” (or policy forming) committees in Dublin City, Fingal, South Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Councils and were nominated as one of the consultative bodies during the preparation of the government’s National Cycle Policy Framework.
